Ceramic – Zehra
Zehra, 35 years old, is a stay-at-home mother of two. After her children started school, she found herself with more time to devote to her long-standing passion for handicrafts, a hobby that had always brought her peace. Joining a ceramics course organised by the local council proved to be a turning point in her life. She quickly realised how skilled she had become in her craft, rapidly mastering the art of ceramics.
Upon completing the course, Zehra continued to improve herself by participating in various other arts and crafts courses, developing her own unique style in the process. Her work, ranging from ceramics to jewellery, gained her a refined artistic perspective. The meticulous attention to detail and professionalism in her pieces showed that this was no longer just a hobby for her, but a true expertise. Her creations, displayed at exhibitions, were met with great enthusiasm.
Zehra has now turned her passion for crafts into a professional business model, and with the support of Retro.ist, she aims to share her products with a wider audience. Each piece she creates is not only a source of income but also an expression of her creativity and newfound freedom.
