Tile Art – Esin
Tile Art – Esin. Esin has spent years contributing to her family as a skilled seamstress. However, her decision to step away from the demanding life of active work didn’t diminish her desire for creativity and productivity. While leaving her job brought her peace, she still carried the drive to create and stay active.
In this new phase of her life, she decided to take a different direction. She enrolled in folk dance and ceramic arts courses offered by the local council. The physicality of folk dance nourished her body, while the art of ceramics fed her soul, turning these two different fields into a form of therapy for her. With her natural talent for craftsmanship, Esin found herself drawn to ceramics with great passion. The detailed and delicate nature of ceramics combined with the skills she honed as a seamstress allowed her to create impressive works in a short time.
Over the years, Esin deepened her expertise in ceramics by furthering her education in the field. She not only enjoyed discovering her talents in different areas but also relished the process of becoming a professional in handicrafts. Eventually, she transitioned from student to teacher, inspiring others while imparting both technical skills and the importance of patience and precision.
Today, Esin continues to actively work in ceramics. Each of her creations is not just a piece of work but a reflection of her years of experience, knowledge, and meticulous craftsmanship. Throughout her life, Esin has never stopped producing or teaching, using these twin abilities to inspire those around her. She continues to fill the void inside her through crafts and aims to reach a broader audience with the help of Retro.ist.
